As a soon-to-be mom to 2 under two, I would say I learned these past 2 pregnancies what items I find necessary and what items I love to have on hand to help during my pregnancy journey! Pregnancy can be tough…mentally, physically, and emotionally! But I want to share some items and tips that I feel have helped make things a little bit easier during these 9 months.
Before we get to my favorite pregnancy must-haves, I want to emphasize one habit I found tremendously helped in not only my pregnancy journey but my postpartum journey and healing as well.
Increased physical activity can help with a positive mentality! What do I mean by this? While fitness and exercise have always been a big and important part of my life, I can truly say it makes a tremendous difference in my mentality and mood during pregnancy. We all know that the release of endorphins we experience when working out can help boost our mood and is a chemical proven to make us happy. Working out is also proven to reduce pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia. While you should always listen to your body, and your doctor, and follow safe pregnancy workout modifications, I can honestly say adding a good 30-45 minute workout in 4-5 days a week during pregnancy has so many benefits.
