Ooey-Goey Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are so simple and easy to make and are the softest and fluffiest treat!
Equipment
- 1 Cookie sheet
- 1 Stand Mixer optional
- 1-2 bowl
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Unbleached All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt I use sea salt or pink himalayan
- 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg
- 8 Tbsp Salted butter Melted-I prefer grass fed
- Chocolate Chips Measure with your heart
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- In a bowl- combine all dry ingredients (except chocolate chips) and mix until combined.
- Heat butter in microwave until just melted but not boiling (typically 35-45 seconds).
- In a separate bowl (or stand mixer) combine all wet ingredients (except butter) and mix on low until well combined.
- Add dry ingredients into wet and mix until combined while slowly adding in melted butter.
- Add in chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.
- Place a sheet of parchment paper onto cookie sheet
- Roll dough into 12-14 balls and space 1-2" apart.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes. 350 °F
- DO NOT OVERCOOK! The cookies will look slightly soft when done with a slightly golden bottom! These will ensure a very soft inside!
- Place on cooling rack and let cool for 10 minutes before eating!
